So here is my second card in the Whale of a Good Time Suite Series! This time I kept it pretty simple. I used the Whale Punch, Whale Done stamp set and the Seabed 3D embossing folder along with the Designer Series paper to make this cute card! Don’t forget to add Wink of Stella to your Whale to give him that shinning in the water look!

Cut Instructions: DSP = Designer Series Paper
Card Base: Just Jade – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Layer 1 – Night of Navy – 2 x 5 ¼
Layer 2 – Whale of a Time DSP 2 ½ x 5 ¼
Layer 3 – Shimmery White – 2 ½ x 3 ¼
Layer 4 – Pacific Point – 2 ½ x 2 ½ & Balmy Blue – 2 ½ x 2 ½ Layer 5 – Whisper White – 4 x 5 ¼
1. Layer 1 – Run through the Seabed 3D Embossing folder.
Layer 2 – Adhere Layer 1 to the top 1/2″ edge.
Wrap ribbon around both Layer 1 and 2. Then adhere to the card front.
3. Layer 3 – Stamp sentiment, fish and bubbles in Pacific Point ink as shown. (Note: you will need to leave enough room for the whale between the fish and bubbles).
Then using Stampin Dimensionals adhere to the left of the card front about ¼ from Layer 1 & 2 left edges and ½” from top edge of Layer 1.
From the Whale of a Time Sequin find 2 of the pink shells. Using a Mini Glue Dot adhere one to each bottom corner.
4. Layer 4 – Using the Whale Punch, Punch out the Whale and other pieces from both the Pacific Point and Balmy Blue pieces. (Save all small pieces even the small dot which is the eye)
(Note: You will be punching out 2 Whales so that you can interchange the smaller pieces. This will leave a whale and smaller pieces of the opposite color for use on another card)
Using Night of Navy ink and the bubble stamp, stamp top edge of Pacific Point whale image and the Balmy Blue lower fin piece. (It will look like the whale has freckles.
Then put Whale together as shown using the Balmy Blue whale pieces and adding to the Pacific Point Whale. (Save the other whale and pieces for another card). I used the Black Stamp N Write marker but a dot in the middle of the eye.
Adhere to Layer 3 as shown.
5. Layer 5 – Stamp the fish images across the bottom of this sheet in Pacific Point ink. Then adhere to the inside of the card.
Color in the Whale with Wink a Stella.
