Beautiful Simple Stampin begins with Countryside Corners by Stampin Up®

Simple Stamping cards are a great way for beginner stampers to start their journey in the wonderful world of stamping.

Look at the vibrant colors on this card! Hard to believe this can be achieved with basic supplies.

Here’s an example of what you need to create a simple stamped card. I have included a link below this list so you can see exactly what I used for this particular card.

• Stamp set
• Card Stock
• Ink
• Blocks for stamps
• Blending Brushes

I do want to point out that even though this is considered Simple Stamping that doesn’t mean that it is a quick and easy design. In most cases Simple stamping cards take a bit more time to do because of the need to color in stamped images or add blending for some contrast.

Card Cuts & Instructions

BASE:  

Night of Navy  – 5 ½ x 8 ½ Scored at 4 ¼ 

FRONT:                                DSP = Designer Series Paper CS = Card Stock

Basic White CS – 4 x 5 ¼ 

INSIDE:

Basic White CS –  4 x 5 ¼

INSTRUCTIONS:

Stamping/Coloring:

1. Using the Countryside Corners stamp and Night of Navy ink, stamp onto the center of one of the 4 x 5 ¼ Basic White pieces
   1. Using Masking paper or post it notes, mask off center label and all around corners and edges of stamped image.
   2. Using the small blending brushes, blend in three sections starting with Granny Apple Green, then Tahitian Tide and last Gorgeous Grape
   3. Remove Masking
2. Using the Sentimental Park set stamp: (Two-Step Stamp)
   1. Sentiment onto center label of image in Night of Navy Ink
   2. Stamp Detailed Flowers on corners in Night of Navy Ink
   3. Then stamp the solid flower image in the three different colors that you blended with as shown. 
3. On the other 4 x 5 ¼ Basic White piece for the inside stamp:
   1. Sentiment in Night of Navy Ink
   2. Detailed flower in bottom right hand corner using same method as step 2b &c

Assemble:

1. Adhere Basic White piece to inside of Card.
2. Adhere the Basic White for front to the Card front.
