Welcome to my blog!  Now I’m not a great gardener but I do garden a bit.  This year I won’t be doing one as I have two new puppies who at the moment are tearing up everything.  They love to dig and my beautiful garden bed is their favorite place to dig so while we work with them on not digging I thought it would be best not to attempt a garden.  So instead I’ll make one with cards!
Today I wanted to share a shaker card that I created using the Garden Greenhouse Bundle by Stampin Up®  When I first saw this bundle I immediately thought about making a shaker card out of it.
Below you will find the card cuts, instructions and supply list but before you get scroll down don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter so that you will be up to date on Stampin Up® news and my card designs.
Card Cuts:
Card Base = Granny Apple Green – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Card stock = Basic White – (2) 4 x 5 1/4; 1 3/4 x 1 3/4; 3 x 3 1/4
= Granny Apple Green – 3 3/4 x 5
=Garden Green – 3 x 4
Specialty= Window Sheet – 3 3/4 x 3 3/4
Die Cutting:
Using the Greenhouse Dies do the following-
1. Apply an Adhesive sheet to the back of the 3 x 3 1/4 Basic White piece, then cut out the detailed Green house.
2. Using the 3 3/4 x 5 Granny Apple Green piece and the solid Green house die cut out opening about 5/8″ from top edge.
3. Using the Layering circles dies cut out scalloped circle from the 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 Basic White piece.
4. Using the Garden Green piece cut out 3 of the fern shaped leaves and two of the other leaves.
1.  – Using the Granny Apple Green piece you just cut above as a guide, lay on top of one of the 4 x      5 1/4 Basic White pieces and lightly trace the Green house opening with a pencil.  Remove then with Granny Apple Green stamp the bunch of leaves images inside the guide.  Then using Flirty Falmingo ink stamp in the flowers as shown.  Erase all pencil marks.
2. On the other 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White piece stamp the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo and the leaves in the lower right hand corner in Granny Apple Green and Evening Evergreen.
3.  Using Flirty Flamingo ink stamp the sentiment onto the scalloped circle as shown.
1.  Adhere the piece you just stamped on the inside of the card as shown above.
2.  Adhere the first Basic White piece you stamped to the card front.
3. Turn Granny Apple Green piece with the Green house cut out in it face down.  Adhere the Window sheet to it from this side.  Then using foam adhesive strips form a square around the top half starting just below the cutout and keeping strips just inside the edges.  Once this is done go ahead and add more strips to the bottom and bottom side edges.
4.  Glue down a couple of the Loose Flower Flourishes then pour more onto the center of the stamped image.
5.  Remove the backing from the foam strips and carefully lay over the stamped image centering it onto the card front.
6.  Remove the backing from the detailed Green house and place it into the cutout on the card front onto the window sheet.
7.  Place leaf cutouts as shown.
8.  Adhere the scalloped circle as shown.
9.  Glue three of the Loose Flower Flourishes onto the card front in the upper right corner.
Now shake it up!
