Countryside Corners with Layering Frames!

Countryside Corners by Stampin Up®

If you like layering this is the card for you! I used the Countryside Corners Bundle by Stampin Up to create this fun layered look. This bundle has a unique stamp and die set. The stamp is one large stamp and when you stamp it you get all of the different layers of frames. You can use it as stamped, color in the different layers or you can use the dies to cut out each individual layer. This creates wide variety of designs for you to create.

The colors used in this suite are all of our blues, Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue. So if blue is your favorite color you will love this suite.

Ink: Balmy Blue; Night of Navy and Whisper White Wink of Stella (141897)

BASE:  

Night of Navy  – 5 ½ x 8 ½ Scored at 4 ¼ 

FRONT:                                DSP = Designer Series Paper CS = Card Stock

Basic White CS – 4 x 5 ¼ (Frames); 3 x 4 (Flowers)

Countryside Inn DSP – 3 x 4 ½; 2 x 3 ¼

Textured Shimmer Specialty Paper – 3 x 4

INSIDE:

Basic White –  4 x 5 ¼

Instructions:

Stamping/Coloring:

1. On the 4 x 5 ¼ Basic White pieces stamp the Countryside Corners Stamp in Night of Navy Ink
2. On the 3 x 4 Basic White piece stamp the following using the Two-Tone Flora set:
   1. Small flower as follows:
      1. (3) – Solid image (Balmy Blue) – Detailed Image (Night of Navy)
      2. (2) – Solid image (Night of Navy) – Detailed image (Whisper White)
   2. Next Largest round flower as follows:
      1. Solid image (Night of Navy) – Detailed image (Whisper White)
   3. Using Wink of Stella paint all of the flowers 

3. On the 3 x 4 Textured Shimmer paper, stamp (2) leaves in Night of Navy ink
4. On the 4 x 5 ¼ Basic White piece for inside of card stamp the following:
   1. In bottom right hand corner stamp Small flower with Balmy Blue solid base and Night of Navy detailed image.
   2. Stamp sentiment using the Wonderful Thoughts set onto top center using Night of Navy ink.
5. Stamp sentiment with Night of Navy ink onto the center of the small label frame.

Die Cutting:

1. Using the Countryside Corner Dies cut out all of the frames that you stamped (Note: you will only be using three of them so save the rest for another card
2. Using the #4 Die cut out label from 3 x 4 ½ DSP piece.
3. Using the #2 Die, cut out label from 2 x 3 ¼ DSP piece.
4. Cut out leaves from the Textured Shimmer paper.
5. Using the Two-Tone Flora Dies cut out all the flowers.

Assemble:

1. Adhere the frame with lines of stitches on it in the upper left side about 1/16” from top and left edges.
   1. Then adhere the matching DSP label to the inside of frame.
2. Adhere the next frame with flowers to card front in the bottom right corner about 1/16” from bottom and right edges overlapping the first frame and label.
   1. Adhere the DSP label to inside of the frame
3. Using Dimensionals add sentiment label to card front overlapping both frames as shown.
4. Add Textured leaves to the bottom as shown.
5. Layer flowers onto leaves as desired.
6. Apply Pearls as desired
7. Adhere the other Basic White piece to the inside of the card.
